Why get a Golden Visa in Spain?
If you wish to live in Spain and you have sufficient financial means to support yourself and your dependents, you may apply for a Non-lucrative residence visa. You must have an income of at least 25,560€ annually, plus 6,390€ per each additional family member. Income may be derived from investments. annuities, sabbaticals or any other sources of income. We provide advice for Non-EU nationals who wish to live in Spain without performing any economic activity.
A NIE is a fiscal identification number for non-residents, without which you cannot buy property or certain other assets in Spain.
This document is strictly for identification purposes, and does not attribute in any way the sense of residency, nor can it be taken as a presumption of residency.
It is the first requisite which we need in order to carry out conveyancing proceedings on the behalf of a non-national in Spain. In Ron Crooke Lawyers, we can help you obtain a NIE even from your home country. Contact us and we will inform you how we can make the application on your behalf.
If after getting your NIE, you decide that you are going to stay in Spain for 90 days or more per year, you will need to register within the Central Register of Foreigners.
The citizens of a member state of the European Union or another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland who will reside in the Spanish territory for more than a three months’ period, are required to apply for a registration in the Central Register of Foreigners. This certificate is a document that validates your residence in the country with the Central Register of Foreigners, on that paper card will be printed your NIE number, where you live and how long you have been living in Spain. This “paper card” is not an identification card but a piece of paper that proves you reside in Spain.
If you are a non-EU national willing to start up an innovative business of particular economic interest in Spain, you can take advantage of the Spanish migration scheme for entrepreneurs. We will be happy to help you complete the process.
